And I'm not suprised we have them. They are not that expensive and basically it is the new thing for police departments to buy.

yea, we just got new chargers like last year here. highly doubt we would ever see kitt the cop car. not any time soon atleast lol all it needs is a hood scoop with neon lights and a speaker for the car to voice its opinion.

ive been reading about this car for some time.
the argument is that every other public service department (fire & ambulance) has purpose built vehicles that are created from the ground up to be used for their purpose, while police cars are modified consumer vehicles. This company is trying to be the 1st to bring a purpose built police vehicle to the market. It looks pretty interesting. |

lol, once cops start chasing you, you probably are not getting away....
unless you are doing 160 and fly by them sitting there and dont slow down, thats basically your only shot at getting away...but even then its still pretty slim...

I dig the suicide doors in the back, particularly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see these in Philly once they become available. From what I've heard from some higher ups on the force is that the cops hate the Charger in the city and are not very fond of the Impala's either. Seems that they all miss their Crown Vic's for all the extra space that they had, but the city can't buy anymore of them since they are currently suing Ford over some vehicles combusting after collisions.
