You're forgetting the whole more quantity pricebreak deal.. I don't think it goes by 20 dollars a gram. Probably an average of the street market value by pound, I'd guess.

7,264 x $20= $145,280 so it looks like they were estimating it at $20 a gram and assuming it was all sold by the gram. No way they would see that much money though.

The whole situation is pretty stupid if you ask me. The city is cutting 11 libraries, fire departments, public recreation, police overtime, etc but they can afford to burn money busting people for victimless crimes.

i dunno, at 20 a gram that could be a legit value but those guys weren't going to make that money, they probably would have brought in like 40 if it were real good stuff.

i read the comments that people left on NBC. its funny how if its someone you know, you have more sympathy for them even though it was illegal activity when we all know if it were just some guy slinging it there would be a slew of comments like "good one less off the streets". Illegal still means illegal. And as long as there are laws against it, it will remain illegal.

I don't agree with it, but it is what it is and someone has to enforce the law, no matter how ****ty it is.
