I got this before I knew the 09 was going to be better, but they gave me such a great deal so I couldn't pass it up. It only has two options. The sport grille and the Sti short throw Shifter. I had the windows tinted 35%. I installed SPT exhaust, Perrin super shorty antenna (xtra 10 horsepower), and Autospeed license plate delete. I would like to get a CAI and BOV but I am uneasy about getting a tune. I would like to retain my warranty as much as possible, but I am concerned that if I have a flash performed that it will leave a trace that it was done in the ECU evan after being removed from the ECU. Does anyone know how this really works? I am just guessing at this point.

Do they all have WRX on the seats?

Future Mods include washing it, Rally Armor mudflaps, new stereo and speakers, powdercoating the wheels. The audio in this car blows.

nice car, not a fan of the silver on the wrx though. if you get a cobb accessport to flash your ecu there won't be any trace of it if you need to flash it back to the stock map. it retains everything.

Hmm.... It is impossible for you to VOID your entire drivetrain warranty by putting a catback on. Whatever part you replace voids that part. Like if his radio stopped working, they wouldn't deny coverage because of his exhaust.

hm. fair enough. i've never had to deal with warranties so it's never been an issue for me but i figured the warranty was an all or nothing type deal.

well i know spt stuff doesnt void warranty...so i think hes ok...... but yea accessport will do that...then u can throw cai and bov....but save the old system!

cant u get a warranty on your aftermarket parts? my friend had an evo and he had exhaust bov intake and the common bolt-on stuff and they had some warranty that made all that stuff ok, the best thing to do is call up the dealership and ask them what will void your warranty, "hypothetically speaking" of course
