Im not really suprised. My buddy worked there for a little while, and said it was terrible.

That, and Best Buy is just doing EVERYTHING right in terms of marketing and such. Now, if their Geek Squad people were smarter (for the most part).

i know they circuit was sold a couple years ago and fired all their employees and said they can have their job back, but instead of making 10+ and hour they will all have to work for minumum wage.

its an chapter 11, so don't plan on seeing any local circuit city's closing around here, at least not till after the holiday season anyway.

the 155 stores that are closing, none are in pa, and nj, the closest store closing will be in new york, but all the big items dont really do on sale, rather they get shipped to other circuit city stores that are still open

never liked the place.....was always kinda dark in the store and i always had problems when i did go. Haven't shopped there in years. Best buy put them out.

We've been in a downward spiral for the past year and a half, this doesn't surprise me at all. I say "we" beacuse I've been with the company for over 3 years now.

i used to work for CC at mt. laurel as a customer service associate for 5 years. It wasn't bad to work for it was just bad to shop at.

The Wilmington and Exton locations are terrible. Everything from customer service to store and product layout just sucks.

wow thats crazy that they closing stores when i know i just installed doors at 2 brand new stores, one of them that has opened already and another that hasnt opened yet. they opening a new one in marlton right near the 70 73 circle... weird companies..

those location may not actually be owned by circuit city, but by a developer
