You create a thread asking people to participate when you don't participate yourself.

Recipe for failure.

"I'm citing you because you don't have a resonator in your exhasut" ...it was useless to try and explain that I had a resonator.

These were all years ago.

One Women officer pulled me over. By the time she got to the car I had my removable steering wheel off. And She said " OMG, you weren't driving like that were you!" After I showed her how it worked she was fine. She actually flirted with me for awhile but still gave me a ticket.

One conversation went kinda like this. Officer, "Are you some kind of Asshole!"
Me, "What?"
Officer, "Your an asshole."
Me, "um, Alright"
Then I sat with them for a few hours before he let me go.

One I parked my car and a cop pulled around the corner with the lights on.
Told me to get back into car. He came up and told me, "He asked my why I was driving so fast. And giving me the whole thing. Like I was so getting a ticket. ( I had a 2way diff in my car and turning the corner my tires were squealing. After the fact the roads were winding and I was driving pretty quick. ) So I asked, "How fast was I going?" And it got kinda awkward.
He just looked at me for a moment, then said, "I have no idea."
Me, "um....ok"
Officer, "Well I couldn't catch up with you."
Me, " So.... what do we do now."
Officer, "Well I have nothing you can go."

Get out of the car.... and if either of you move I WILL have to shoot you....

End result... nothing. No warning... no citation... Just thought we looked like trouble makers... IE...small penis syndrome...

I got pulled over in West Chester for a seatbelt warning a few years back, before it was a ticket. I was with my friend, comin back from a hockey game, and he said: "Neither of you are wearing your seatbelts. What happens if you get in an accident? What do you think your girlfriends.....(leans down and looks in the car at both of us awkwardly) or boyfriends, for that matter, would think when your both thrown from the windshield and die?"

I kid you not, I had a cop say that he had never seen "one of these" refering to the Talon, off of jackstands before. I was just like, "Whoa, What?"

Here, he was a former DSMer himself, lol.

two nights ago i got pulled over and got a warning for "speeding" but i was just pulling away from a light not speeding and he was talking to another cop in a parking lot. claimed he recognised me and asked if i'm staying out of trouble...i told him i had to because i'm leaving for the navy, he said "o nice i was in the navy for four years" i asked what program, he says "well, um, i just like, went in the navy".

a while back i was teaching my gf to drive stick in an empty parking lot at like 2am, not drunk or speeding or anything but it was in my black 350z. 3 cops pull in and said we looked like we were up to no good. gave him all my paperwork, she didn't have her license on her (go figure). after 20 minutes the cops ask me to step out of the car, i do and walk behind the car where they are. the cop holding my paperwork says "see jordan, we came across a little problem when running the vins. the vins some back an '03 nissan, how do you explain THAT?!?". i put every bit of effort that i could find in my soul to not laugh in his face but my girlfriend who's still in the car hears this and starts laughing like an idiot. then the other cops just look at him, another cop says "uhhh gary, it is an '03 nissan" then they just told me to leave...

I guess I’ll contribute!

Back (even before 9/11!) I was jogging. I had a cheap mp3 player and headphones and I was running and listening.

Well, I noticed this car was driving past me… A LOT. Kind of scared (I was either 12 or 13), I hid in the woods. After a few minutes, I started running again thinking whatever, maybe he was lost or something.

Well, I cross the street and I notice that there are a few police cars coming towards my area… wtf? So I run into a field and hide. I don’t know, was there a crazy on the loose or did I do something wrong?!

Well, I’m lying down in this field fearing for my life… and I look up and I see about a dozen police officers with their guns drawn. I just get on my knee’s and put my hands behind my head. Apparently, that car that passed me a few times over thought I was a terrorist and decided to call the police on me.

My uber voice communications tool (aka an MP3 player)? Check
Urban camo pants (camo was hot back then!)? Check!
An assault vest to hold ammo/grenades/etc (aka a normal vest)? Check!

Then I proceeded to get a lecture from the police officer in the back of his squad car as it took my parents TWO HOURS to get home from finishing shopping.

Driving the probe home in it's boosted days from some car event a few years ago, literally half a mile from my front door in a very small town (everyone knew where the red obnoxious car with the black stripes parked) i turn into a development because I wasn't into being followed into my driveway like usual.

Immediately the officer pulls me over, comes up to the car and says...before looking at my id... "what's going on tonight Jason, are you lost?"

I held back the laughter, and thought about asking for directions to my house
