I just got 95 Civic EX Vtec and turbo kit.

Hey guys
Okay I just needed second daily driver and my friend wanted to sell his Civic. So I bought his car really cheap. It has only 104k miles and replaced timing belt yesterday.
Today, I just ordered barely used turbo kit(Turbo Specialties) with Garrett T25 turbo from Pro-Street Online. I got really good deal on this so I couldn't pass but don't know much about it. Has anyone used/known about this turbo kit?
Also what kind of catback is the quietest with 2.25~2.5 inch diameter? I'm using Greddy EVO catback for my WRX and love it. So I'm thinking Greddy EVO2 catback. Is this also quiet for the Civic? I hate loud Honda's.

Well, I'm exciting to build another project car. I think I'm done pretty much for my WRX. It took about 3 years because I'm not a rich guy. From now on, I might need a Honda guys' help for my Honda project but not too crazy.

I'll look forward your opinion.
Thanks guys!

The turbo alone will make a huge difference with how the exhaust sounds so I doubt you will have anything to worry about with systems up to 2.5".

Your Mom is gonna love the new "pick-up" the car has.

I can't wait to put this turbo on. We'll both have Hondas as our daily drivers.

How much did the turbo kit run you if you don't mind me asking? I am picking up a 95 Ex for $500 bucks and i don't know if i want to fix it up and resell it or make it a track car.

Well, I don't really. I paid $900 shipped but there are 2 oil line fittings missing which is no biggie. I can get those from local performance parts store. The kit run $1600 brand new. Plus I will get Greddy type RS BOV, turbo timer, Autometer boost gauge all included in the kit. So why not...

Yea some people don't like to discuss money over the web. That’s a pretty good deal I may have to get it. Got a link for more info on it?

I think that spending money on a non-daily driver is wasting of money. I just want to have another fun and my family needed additional vehicle. There is no reason that not spending money on an additional daily driver. I'm not talking about the beater. It's a second daily driver for me and my family.

One other reason is that it’s still kinda hard to have a daily driver that’s soo slow. I know, because if my 91 Accord was bone stock (very, very slow) I’d never drive it because it’s too boring.

Even the daily driver has to be fun to drive. (Besides, wouldn’t it be cool to have two fun cars?)

I Wouldn't go with an Evo 2 catback. The piping is to small. For a decent spool time you want at least 2.5 inch on a honda. I wouln't worry to mutch about the sound. NA honda's sound like crap with a big exhaust because they have very little backpressure in the exhaust system. A turbo will greatly increase you'r backpressure. My car sounded more like a SRT-4 than a honda. In my opinion the best sounding exhaust for a honda is the Thermal R&D. Big piping but little sound.
