How many exposures on your camera?

I apologize if there is already a thread like this.. I just thought it was a neat idea since I just checked my camera

So how many shots/exposures does everyone have on their cameras?

Just checked my D200, and there were 36,610. About 15,000-20,000 of those are mine, the rest were done by my husband. Camera has been in use since July 2006. I've been using it since end of February 2008

The D70 I use to use had something like 90,000 on it or so before my husband passed it onto his brother.

Last time I checked, I have ~ 30,000 on the D3 and my D2x is approaching 52,000. I'm not surprised at the numbers though. When I am shooting dog agility shows, it's not uncommon for me to take over 2,000 shots during the weekend.

Shutter life is 'tested' to a certain number of clicks but IMO it's a crapshoot. Some shutters last for way more than rated, some less. My D70 has issues (but is still used all the time) after 12k (now I have over 17k)

I think I have around 10k on the D300. Haven't shot more than 200 frames since September though

My husband got about 75k on his D70 before the "green light of death" appeared. he finally sent it in to nikon, and they fixed it free of charge, and it labored over 90k by the it passed on. I liked that camera, as it was my first DSLR experience. Now it'd freak me out for being too small, I am wayyy to use to my D200 and it's grip and massiveness. Guess the D70s got a bit gimpier?

Troll - yes we were. I got married last February! But he still lets me oogle bikini contests, lol.

Chris - I used this one, which requires a RAW file which I just happened to shoot in a few days ago so it was up to date: http://drchung.new21.net/previewextractor/

Yeah I know, its insane! I got it used but it only had a couple thousand clicks on it. Either way I've put at least 25000 clicks on it myself, in a matter of... 6 months or so. Actually it may be less then 6 months.

You did go to Europe, there's your excuse

Mine might be seeing a little less since I'm getting a film SLR soon to play around with. That, and I got a tiny Kodak point and shoot to use for every day small things around the house.
