Trailing a Police Car question.....

Well I personally have NEVER done this, but my friend with a Mustang GT does it most time he sees a cop car. He says that if a cop is driving along speeding without lights or siren on, that he is not able to pull you over for doing the same. I mean I personally ALWAYS see cops speeding around without their lights or sirens on, hell once I had an undercover pass me as I was going 80MPH in a 55...yeah scared the **** out of me. I have seen cop cars easily going 75-80 in 45 zones in the rain, 90+ on the highway etc.

One time my friend with the Mustang said he was on the highway late at night and a cop flew by him, he started trailing it and the cop reached speeds of 135MPH! I mean he doesn't ride their ass or anything, just trails them.

I think this is complete BS though, if it matters we are both in PA. Either way "legal" or not I will still never do it, not sure about my friend though...

If I see someone pacing me above the speed limit I can pull them over and cite them for the speed. Our cruiser speedos are calibrated and can be used as a measuring device for your speed. So yea tell Mustang boy to not do that anymore.
