Incredible work.

Hopefully not a repost, I did a search and nothing came up.

Naw, this lambo definitely owns that one! You can't beat 100% hand crafted!

I love what they say in the article

Mr. Imhoff, our hats are off to you sir. You are an inspiration to us all, we want to be like you when we grow up. Considering the quality of the work here, we're fairly confident your car is actually better than factory, more reliable, better handling and faster, and you have the satisfaction of having built it yourself. Congratulations sir, you are a grease monkey superhero.
I wonder what it cost him to build the car and I wonder what someone would pay for it.

That reventon has some potential. That countach looks incredible though, the definition of dedication.

I love how he had to destroy his house to get it out of the basement. Nice car, bad planning.

house is faaaaar from destroyed... and a 10 year project built in a safe, dry, heated and cooled area seems pretty good to me.

He cut a perfectly good concrete block wall. It was in a basement. Looking at the house, I doubt being down there was any better than building a shack outside. He could have used some of his skill to build a garage first. Then, he'd have a place to park his new Lambo too.

Seriously though knocking down a section of your house to get your homemade lambo out of the basement is a much more badass story.

that too... could you imagine what his neighbors were thinking when it finally came out?

I'm sure they heard stories of it... maybe some have seen it and thought... "he'll never finish it..." then bam... hole dug in ground... hole cut in basement wall... out comes lambo...

I give that guy a lot of credit for sticking with it for 10 years! I know some of you would have owned like 25+ cars in 10 years. Some of you have a different taste everyother week.

As for the hating on the wheels and seats I like them. Countach factory wheels are blah and fake upholstered seats wouldn't look much better.

I just find it funny he had to knock out a wall of the basement to get it out. It probably would have just been cheaper to build on a garage extension and build the car in a garage like a normal person?
