Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

1000whpTSi Tri-State Aficionado Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: NY Member #8766 My Ride: 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD iTrader: (0)	1G DSM flywheel FWD/AWD Just thought I'd remind the DSM guys on this board that when purchasing an aftermarket flywheel make sure to specify if the vehicle is FWD or AWD.I made the mistake of assuming my sales person knew what platform I had and well.....he should have to be honest because he is good friends with the previous owner of the car and.....yeah.Anyway,I took the trans out the other night expecting to have the new clutch/flywheel installed in about an hour but to my surprise the flywheel was for a FWD.Grrrrrrrrr!!!! So now what should have been a very quick swap is turning into a week long event.I'm so pissed I'm ready to just throw the old setup back in and be done with it till next spring.I should have checked ahead of time but when you work 70hrs+ a week you tend to be in zombie mode when you are at home.Well,anyway I just thought maybe I could save someone the headache I just went through.Even though it's my own dumb-ass fault!!!! __________________ 92' Talon TSi-Drag car - GT4202 / Shearer top mount / Shep Dogbox / Haltech E11v2 / Weldon 2345-A / Hogan custom SMIM / Wilson Billit 90mm TB / J&S SAFEGAURD-Individual cylinder knock controll system / DSS Level 5 axles / DSS 3.5" HD Driveshaft /
