iTunes Help

Alright I am pretty literate with computers and iTunes and all that crap. But I have had two problems that I can't fix recently. My 8gb iTouch is filling up and I can't figure out how to have songs just in my library without being on my actual iTouch? It was so simple until they upgraded to this new firmware. In the old firmware you just had to uncheck the box next to the song.

Also my brothers have iTunes on the computer downstairs and run off the same account as I do and they downloaded some movies so when I logged on next time it automatically downloaded them into my library? I want to delete them but it won't let me delete them?

Help please.

i manage my songs that go on the touch. all you do is check them. when you ipod is syncd check the box that says manage.....yourself.

as for the movies i think there is an option to not check for purchased content and dl it.

Yeah it's in your prefs to manage your own music. Once you do that just uncheck the songs you want off. Next time you plug in the iPod your songs will update to the ones you have checked.

simply select the song you want to take off the ipod right click and select clear then select to keep it in the library. you can select multi songs/movies by selecting one push shift and push the down or up keys to select multi songs

Not sure if you guys have noticed this or not, but I just updated my iTunes software and when I went to the View tab and tried to select "show duplicates", that option is no longer there...

Has this happened to anybody else too?
