sad day for the vert!

Well this is my last week working my part time job, actually today is my last day. and so i have been taking the vert to my part time job everyday this week. so lastnight i am on my way home chilling maxin and relaxin. playing some smooth jazz on my sirius radio and then it happened! as i say it then do it
"OH ****" (you know what said!)
tree falls right in front of me, i am thinking to myself in that flash
"what am i going to do"

quickly did the drifter slide ebrake pull count steer to get around it.

"wow that worked"

BLAM!

back tire gets the very top of the tree and blows my tire and busted my rim right up! the back of the car literally jumps in the are i spin the wheel the other way so it can land good and nailed the landing the judges give him a 10.0 for the perfect landing! i pull over about 50 ft away from the tree just incase someone else comes flying by. I run over and move the tree off the road so no one gets hurt. then i get to my fc with a tear in my eye! i couldn't see to well so i jacked it up as high as i could took the wheel off and used my cell phone for light and i didn't see any damage. i put the spare on her and drove her home. No crazy moves or anything on the way home. i get home i jack it up and put a light on i go under the car.

"WOW just some scuffs on the exhaust" no cracks in the frame no cracks on the sub frame. my diff is not busted or leaking. my tranny is in good shape no cracks or leaks (as i said that i thought to myself dam right nothing better break on that tranny i spend $1495 on it it better not break)"

checked the mounting bracket for the tranny and the engine bay for any damage and nothing! so as sad of a day it was it could of been worse i know i could of gotten killed or hurt badly! but i am depressed because this sunday is the last auto cross and i am doing so good. So if anyone has an 98-04 mustang gt bullett wheel laying around please send it to me i have loot in the paypal! i need it by sunday so i can win! the fc is at the shop right now getting looked over for any damage. so i hope nothing is wrong!

had to rant because right now i am crying on the inside!

Damn... that could have ended so much worse, but it still really sucks for something to happen to your baby. Hope it all gets fixed up in time!

I would help you out with the wheels, but I don't know any one with a set.

Yeah, those wheels are like a dime a dozen. Once I lower my truck, I am thinking on either getting Cobra R's or some 17" bullets for the front, and 18's for the rear.
