What state do you live in?

How far does the perch extend off the back of your car? If its blocking your plate I wouldnt run around with it. Why do you drive around with the bag of laundry on the car anyway? Obviously it looks cool, but something that I wanted to use to slow my car down I wouldnt want to just drive around with and risk something happening to it to where if I needed to use it at the track it didnt work right.

I live in NY.I honestly just wanted to avoid crawling under the car to remove the chute everytime I feel like taking a spin.I just had to remove it the other day to get the vehicle into a tight workspace and it was not fun. It's only a single 3/4" nut and bolt to remove it but the way it sits up against the rear bumper cover it's a bit of a pain in the neck.I have to have someone pull on it while I get under the car and pry on it.It's basicaly a 5-10 minute deal but with my degenerative discs in my back crawling under the car can sometimes lead to a trip to the ER....Que the violins.
Honestly I'd just rather leave it on because it looks so damn cool,LOL.
Just kidding.I do wish it had some kind of quick release, with a pin and a clip.It would make my life a lot easier.
As for the chute not working correctly at the track,I would know it there was a problem. It's a very simple device. It's activated by a cable with a pull-lever.It either works or it does'nt.Thanks
