So I got my sisters car tinted and she finally got pulled over. Normally, for me atleast, it's a $54 fine and I send the check to the police station but on her ticket it says manditory court appearance required and up to a $1,000 fine. Since when? What's that all about?

The offense happened in Bordentown, NJ and I really can't see that being different than Hamilton. I don't know, it just sounds like a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeacccccccccccccch to me.

You can be required to go to court for any violation. Thats a summons Bordentown likes to write.

So with respect to the tint, since when did they change the fine? I always just pay mine and it's $54. I've never had any $1,000 fine thrown at me for that. I mean it's tint, not a DUI.
