Honestly, you're not going to get far with your petition written like that. It sounds pretty juvenile, to be perfectly honest...
Not only that, you are asking for a lot, without giving much. You need to do some leg work and present evidence, numbers, etc, before anything will happen with this. Focus on the after market performance industry, that is obviously the point of this petition. Adding the other stuff in their just seems convoluted and you're losing your point. As far as I'm concerned about these knock offs... I don't care. People need to do research into what they're buying and what they're putting on their cars. I did a **** load of reading before I spent the $300 i spent on parts for my SRT-4. If people aren't going to do research on 2-3k, then its their own fault if they buy a ****ty turbo and it explodes. |

^^^ i tend to agree. youre going to need facts, numbers, data.. something hard for them to go on before someone even begins to look at this seriously. but its a good first step, and im sure a lot of people agree with you. unfortunately, its called competition

competition should harbor advancement... better products, better service, etc.
Unfortunately... the human race sucks and we are no longer looking to get or offer "better"... but to get and offer "cheaper" regardless... |

The problem isn't the company that makes the knockoffs, it's the people who continually buy them. They know what they are buying and usually don't care because its cheaper. As long as there is a demand for cheap knockoffs there will be a supply.
and something else to consider. In my opinion there are times where large company's like Greddy inflate their prices a bit simply because of there name. They can get away with it because its ( insert name here of huge tuner company). Yes they have earned the right to charge what they want and in most cases its justified because of the quality, but now a days the way the market is just not strong enough to support them.
