Philly Restaurant Week 9/14-9/19

In case anyone is interested, Philly is doing their annual restaurant week the 14th-19th of September.

Tons of restaurants across the city are doing three course meals for $35. Some of these places normally charge over $50 per entree-so this is a great deal.

$35 dinners at select restaurants; prices are per person and do not include beverages, tax, or gratuity

Reservations are required.

For more information and restaurants that are participating visit

http://www.centercityphila.org/life/RestaurantWeek.php

If you wanna go, hurry up and make your reservation. Most places are getting pretty booked.

I'm going here.. http://www.table-31.com/ Owned by the same company that owns Le Bec Fin. They just opened in May.

Thanks for the heads up... I havent done this before. I found a restaurant on the list you linked then clicked to make reservations and it took me to the opentable site... when making reservations it said nothing of Restaurant Week or the reduced price but I made sure to make a reservation on the 19th which falls during the Restaurant Week time period... does that sound right or do you need to do anything special?

No, thats it. Just make sure when you go to eat you tell them you are there for Restaurant Week and they will give you the special menu.

Thankfully, I'll be able to go down and actually eat during this week instead of working it.

Just so that some people know, a lot of the restaurants "dumb" down their menus for restaurant week, so the cousine might not be as good as it would on a regular night. I've heard a bunch of people go to places during restaurant week and say its meh and and others go during regular times and say its amazing. Regardless it should still be a good time, just know that you might not be getting the whole shebang during restaurant week.

They do have a limited menu but from my experience, the food is still wonderful. The menu's I've seen still have various steaks and fish...

I'd love to go with Bill, but I'm such a picky eater, not really into all the fancy meals.

Im totally not into fancy food either. Some of the places arent that fancy-there are some pubs and fish places that are pretty decent.
