Deadly crash on rt 38 - white 3000 GT

just saw on the news.. White 3000 gt hit a hyundai last night sometime before midnight last night. From what I could see on the report, it looked like the 3000gt had chrome wheels. The guy driving the 3000gt died and his 3 passengers were injured. I think they said the guy who died was like 20? The people in the hyundai are injured also. Just seeing if anyone knew anything about this or if the 3000GT owner was on this forum.. I hope not, I mean it sucks either way but if he was a member on here.. Its almost like it could have been me... Or you! Drive safe. This guy is in my thoughts as well as his family and friends... R.I.P man

from what i read, it said the front seat passenger died and he was 18 and the driver was 20, they never said anything else about anyone else dieing, but seriously, thats got to mess with your head knowing that your best friend died in a car crash that you were driving.

yeah its a damn shame. Whether it was a eclipse or 3GT.. Driver or passenger... Damn shame. Sorry if some of the info I said was innacurate, I was just going by what I saw on the news... They said mitsubishi sedan in the report but I was 90% sure it was a 3GT from the footage they had in the report...

No, it was definately a 3000GT and it was someone from the best buy meet. He genuinely is a nice guy and it really doesn't sound like something he would do but we all like to enjoy our cars so maybe it was just a bad place or something. I'm really worried for him and I feel bad because I know he's going to feel SO bad that someone died.

yeah I thought it was a 3000GT... And I couldn't even imagine something like that happening to me, but when you think about it, it could have been anyone.. Just blows my mind. I hope he pulls through but its gonna be almost as horrible if he wakes up and finds out his friend didnt make it. Just terrible..

news people don't know their ass from their elbow, let alone the difference between a 3000GT or an eclipse lol .. It always amazes me, the Amount of inaccurate information that you see on the news these days.. In their defence though, the car was totalled and if you aren't an automotive enthusiast, then you probably wouldn't be able to see the difference

I just got home from school and saw this. The driver of the white 3000GT is a good friend of mine who I chill with on a daily basis. As far as the passenger that died, I know him but have not seen him for a long time. This is a real shame and I was shocked when my brother called me and told me.

Damn man, sorry to hear you lost one of your friends. I hope the rest of the people will pull out of this ok. this should all tell you that you should drive more carefully, not saying that the person who was driving, wasn't a careful driver, but to driver as safe as possible. R.I.P to whoever died.

Here is an update:
Just got back from the hospital and visited my friend. He seems stable and was even able to crack a few jokes. He is obviously still recovering and needs rest. I think he is going to pull through.
