How often do you guys think about selling your cars for something else?

Personally, it enters my mind every now and then. Recently, Ive been thinking about getting an sc300. My problem is I like too many cars. Don't get me wrong I love my 240, I guess too much since Ive never really taken the giant leap of putting it up for sale, except one time. Sometimes I try to convince myself into taking out a loan for something out of my budget but the idea gets trashed way too fast when I think about insurance, payments, and all the other crap I want to do with my money.

I think about selling my 72 cutlass every once in a while. I don't really drive it very much anymore (can't remember the last time actually..) and it just kinda sits around. I guess my tastes just have changed and now that I have this 240z, its all that I can think about. I like the cutlass going straight, but anything other then that is awful. I wanna make this 240z into a track/daily so I have something that handles like crazy as well as the rest of the good stuff.

Another car I cant get outta my head. I still want a Z so bad, that was the main reason I put up the 240sx for sale last time lol.

Lol, they are SO much fun, but the 240sx is too. Its kinda just a preferance, do you prefer the new car feel or something that makes you drive it? Even stock they are fun to drive, I can't wait to get some sort of suspension on it and some better wheels/tires. I think i'll be keeping the L24 for awhile, but at some point I would like to swap in an L28ET from the 280zx turbo.

Never. My dad thought when I bought the car I'd get rid of it in a few years. Almost 8 years later still have it and will never part with it. Plus were only around 12k made so why buy something not as rare.

With previous cars I would think about it alot. With the wrx though I can say only a couple times in the 2 1/2 years since I bought it. I was thinking about trading it in when I found out my trans was going to go at some point. At that time I was thinking of an EVO. Then back in Feb I almost traded it in on a BMW 135 but I was having second thoughts when my tranny did die. I dropped in enough money then that now I just save up for a new engine block and parts because I decided to keep it for as long as I can.

The thought, in all honesty, has never passed my mind in reguards to the Civic. 3 year long relationship and the only thing I want to do with it is make it faster. I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

weekly, but only for the daily driver which i'd love to swap out for something super economical on gas.
the toys... nah. i've said i'd sell the subie if someone was really interested in paying a lot for it, but i doubt that will happen. otherwise, i'm good. sick of cars too but i'm hoping to be somewhat home free soon enough then i can just chill and enjoy what i've got without spending too much time wrenching.

I've never thought of selling my car until recently. She's got 130K, and I'm ready for a change.

All the time, love my Teg but after 3 FWD cars (Civ Hatch, MX-6, Teg) Im bored to tears. It's especially tough with so many clean Evos and WRXs around, nevermind the RX-7s that I see creeping around during the summer. It's enough to drive a man crazy!

not really, I just wanna make my car faster and faster. Not to mention selling my car would be a hugely bad finacial move, i would get liek half what I put into it haha.

Pretty much every day. I've had my car for 4 1/2 years and i'm just getting tired of it. I'm at the point now where i just want something economical and easy to drive. I'm almost positive my next car will be an acura TL automatic. I drive stick everyday at work and i'm pretty much sick of it and ready for something different

Same here, Its not that I dont like my car because I love my car but if I'm going to spend the money to beef up the transmission I would rather just get an STi.
