No TPS voltage showing on PowerFC?
I took a spin around the block to check for leaks, issues, general not goodnesses. The car will not boost past 0" vacuum without breaking up badly. I thought it was the fact that I was on the stock ECU with my 650CC injectors, so I put my PFC in and changed the plugs. No real change. Checked all the obvious things: boost leaks, coil pack grounds, etc, but couldn't find anything obvious. The other day, I was dicking around looking at sensor values on the Commander. There are 2 that are highlighted, THRO and BOST. I am assuming they are TPS and boost control. What concerned me was the TPS voltage was 0.00v. Obviously there was a problem. I did some wire tracing and found an open in the LG/R wire from the TPS to the ECU. Fixed that. Still no voltage. Here's where I am confused. If I have 5 volts AT the TPS, what is it reading as the THRO signal? MODS are: SR20DET redtop GT28RS 650CC injectors Hybrid FMIC manual boost controller PowerFC Aftermarket DP/catback The car ran fine before the turbo swap, I blew a gasket and figured while I had the turbo off, might as well upgrade. Kicking myself for THAT one. I didn't touch anything on the intake side of the block, just the manifold/turbo/IC piping/DP. Why would it all of the sudden start acting like a bag of douche? It is obviously running severly rich, the plugs and bumper can verify that. What I can't figure out is why it breaks up under boost. Are the injectors that uncontrollable on the stock PFC map? Aside from Nzo's list, is there a PFC map list? I would like to get it at least driveable to the dyno for a tune...

The Power FC comes with a base map that is the same as stock, thats why there would be no change with that compare to the stock ecu. The power fc can control injectors as large as i have seen so i wouldn't worry about that. You probably need to scale the injectors for the 650cc that u have. The 650cc are almost double the size that the stock ones are, so there is no way the car is gonna even come close to running well until u scale them in the power fc. As far as the throttle issue typically the SR's will run and idle pretty decent even if there is no throttle signal, you should def fix it, but i would start with the injector stuff before you go crazy on everything else. Give us a call or get the car down here we can get it running amazing for you....

If I can sell this RX-7 I have sitting here, I'll try to get it to you ASAP.
Went looking some scrapyards for a TPS today. No good. The Sentra ones have the same plug, but a reverse sweep. I would like to have found a late model 200sx one, I hear they are the same. Oh well. I did score some good hood struts for my POS Maxima, so it wasn't a wasted trip. I'll check out what I can do with the fuel numbers later, I have yet to find an English .pdf of the instructions yet. Every link I have found has been dead.:shrugs:
