So let me tell you how I'm freakin retarded.

So I decided that today I was going to add a hanger to my exhaust because it was sagging, and change my oil. So I go to advance auto, get oil, get a filter, and get an exhaust hanger. Came home, started working on the exhaust, had to modify the hanger, got that all done. Then realized I wasn't quite sure where to put it. Ended up finding a spot where an old hanger was that wasn't being used. Took that off, put the new one on, bada bing, bada boom, task 1 completed. So then I go to change the oil. Drain the oil, take the old filter off, let everything drain. Pick up the new filter and pour a little oil into it to "prime" the filter. Oil just sits on top, doesn't go in. wtf. look inside, theres something in there weird looking. Poke it...doesn't move....wtf. Call advance, ask them to give me the part number of the filter I needed to make sure i got the right one. I picked up the wrong filter! sombich. called my uncle to drive me down there as my car was blocking in my moms car. get up there, get in the car, car wont start. ****! Come back down to my house, grandfather lets me take his jeep. So I take his jeep down. On the way down, had half a tank of gas, get back in after getting a new filter, goes to empty. wtf. go to wawa and put gas in it. get back in, goes all the way to full. (only put $15 in....WTF). Realize when I got there, I left my oil cap on the jeep bumper from earlier. Somehow it held on from my house to advance auto to wawa lol. WTF! So then I was finally finishing everything up, go to close the hood, slips out of my hand and slammed the **** out of my forearm right on the hood latch. OW WTFMFGDSOABOWWWWW.

cliffs:
-started changing oil

-realized i got the wrong filter

-asked uncle for ride

-his car wouldn't start

-take grandfathers jeep

-get new filter

-says its empty on gas so I put some in and later learn his gas gauge is funny sometimes, so I wasted $15.

-realized i had left my oil cap from my car on his bumper and drove around probably 5 miles or so with it there, didn't fall off.

-dropped hood on forearm and hit it with hood latch

-proceeded to curse myself and my hood out wtfmfgdsoabowwwww.

But yeah, we all do dumb stuff. I could write books with the small stupid things I've forgotten when building all of my friend's cars.

Most recent thing was this beater (literally destroy-o) old 84 Blazer we have we had to drop the gas tank real quick before we went out 4 wheeling at night because the fuel pickup fell in again. Put it back up, drive to the gas station to gas up before going out. Pumping gas sitting there admiring this guy pulled over in the station with cops surrounding them. None of us are paying attention and realizing that we just sprayed $3 worth of gas on the ground. (you'd be surprised how much $3 of gas looks like when it's laid flat on the ground).

Oops, forgot to reattach the filler neck when putting the gas tank in.

BTW, quickly became the cops center of attention when they saw a few guys underneath a Blazer with every piece of glass smashed, every inch of the body smashed up, and four different wheels/tires on it with gas all over the ground.
