helldorado from NJ - PFM is now on the boards!

And I know that PFM means absolutely nothing to you guys, yet. ;)

Hello all, my name is Sean. Just this weekend, I've signed the paperwork on a 2008 dark gary metallic STI. My previous car is a pretty well modded G35 coupe. After driving a GTR 2 weeks ago, I pretty much decided that there wasn't any point in take that car any further! So I'm currently demodding back to stock and will be taking delivery of the STI once the G35 is done with its reversion. The STI will hold me over for the next couple years, possibly be my DD afterwards when I'm ready for the GTR. I'm not planning on modding the STI to the extent of the G35, but some mild handling improvements and nice boost in power wouldn't hurt. :D

I'm also president of a car club here in Southern NJ. Project Forward Motion. We started off as a 350Z / G35 club, then went to all Nissan/Infiniti but we've changed our direction and now we're open to all enthusiasts who enjoy working on their cars and having a club that does more than hang out in parking lots! Our club focus is DIY, we have a lift, tools and garage space. I've been an admin / mod before on other forums and admin our club website.

Looking forward to meeting more of the local people and go from lurker to contributor. More than anything, we (the club) really want to get out and get to know more of the local folks and get more active in the local scene. We've found that it doesn't matter what you drive, its just always a good time to hang out with car people who aren't into kiddy bull****. And we want to get to know more of those people!

I encourage any of you guys to check out our club website. We post up all of our meets there, most are bi-weekly. I'll try to post them up here as often as possible too. Hope to see some of you come out! Meets are informal, somebody is normally working on their car, but the rest of us chill out, help out and in general have a good time!

Ah.... now I can post some pics and links! Had to get past the 3 post rule first.

My G35, which is currently being demodded.

And the club in action.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. The shop is private industrial space leased by one of our members. Its not an official business or associated with any businesses even though its in the middle of a industrial business park. Our members live all over the area, DE, MD, NJ and PA.

Yeah, I went to read that thread and clicked right into the middle of the argument, lol.

I'll definitely see about swinging by sometime. My office is in Marlton.
