Further proof that ford makes some of the ugliest vehicles

Saw a new Flex on the road today...man was it ugly. Should be interesting to see who buys them. They squished a minivan and act like they reinvented the wheel.

I work at springfield ford and me personally dont like the look of the vehicle but they are selling like crazy and getting a lot of attention. the hype behind the vehicle is mainly the interior options, other than the mustang this is ford first vehicle to sport H.I.D's, reverse sensing standard, sony stereo options (which sounds amazing for a ford), the navigation is insane sporting a live weather map to track weather!!! it even can tell you local gas prices so you can shop for the cheapest gas if you want, 19 inch wheels (option), vista panaramic roof, and its got plenty of leg room thoughout the 3 rows of seating. It may not be the best looking vehicle but different strokes for different folks. the way i look at it is ford is making a move in the right direction with there cars and i think the next 2 years are going to be very interesting......

I like it a lot. With very little changes like the grill and wheels etc... it can become a very good looking car.

Supposedly in 2010/11 we will get the euro focus. Hope they bring the ST with it. Amazing car. It's a shame ford makes such nice cars for europe and shafts their home country with fugly turds like the "flex"

the focus is suppositly going to hav a 2.5L 4cyl come 09, and the euro focus is expected to follow within the next 2 years, me and the general sales manager have already been looking at option sheetz on the 2010-11 focus and there gonna be pretty bad ass, look into ford new line of motors called eco-boost, 4cyl twin turbo(295 hp), and 6cyl twin turbo(low to mid 400hp)!!! your gonna be seeing the eco-boost lin hitting the streets very soon

all the euro spec focus ST's are awesome, but we'll never see them. The RS as well. We had the US Spec Focus ST from 2004-2007, but that wasn't even as impressive as the Focus SVT. Major difference was the US Focus ST was a Sedan, and SVT came a 3dr and 5dr hatchback.

As for the Flex, I havent seen one in person yet,but I never expected them to look that appealing. lol

i dont beleive that model was released yet and that is volvo's c30 chassis considering volvo has been doing ford chassis for the past 3 years now and im almost positive that one of the motor option for that car was a t5 2.5L also a volvo motor

but come-on tell me that car is not screaming c30

WTF was Ford thinking when they didnt bring that to the States? Give it the SVT badge, and a decent price, and BOOM! Something that could of competed w/ the SRT-4, WRX, and Cobalt SS.

Rumor is it will....they are testing an AWD version now.

Flex is ok....little bland but I could see how some people might like it.

Even the Euro styling of the plain ol' focus is much much better than we get here in the states. The Euro ST or RS could compete in the US tuner market easily. I just don't thinkt hey have enough faith. If they do bring it here in 2010-2011, it will be just the like the focus SVT, it will come in limitation with only a few hundred being release stateside.

supply and demand at its finest, then again its funny how ford is the only company out of the big 3 with there head still above water and ford is the only company that temp dropped there performance line, performance cars are not what makes money for domestics, daily driving everyday practical cars do and many automakers lost there way a little bit mainly cheverolet with SS....not saying there not badass cars but the quality of there cash cows went to the toilet! now ford was very suttle in there performance line by putting out lightly modified mustangs that were still able to be warrantied as if it was a base mustang and still be reliable

It's being marketed for the consumer looking at the Scion xB and the Honda Element for sure. Ford sees how many of those things are out there and they want a piece of the pie.

yea and when ford did go for performance (in the focus arena), they uber failed!!!! i.e.- the n20 Saleen Focus that came with n20 hookup, but get this..... If you hookup the nitrous setup, you void the warranty--no lie! Who's going to pay and extra 8-10k for a brand new econo car with a body kit, wheels, and nitrous setup that they can't hook up???
