The only thing that I thought sucked about it was when the Dodge Charger drives off the road and you clearly see it drive behind the barrels as they explode.

that movie defined chase scenes. It still has its effect how ever many years later, with the new mustang bullitt.

Granted, it may not have been epically amazing and up to par as modern movies allow, but for the time it is great.

Many errors and such, but I think it was a good chase. The rest of the movie was quite bad however. But I liked the chase in No Mans Land as well with the 911 and the Camaro, hehe. Again, many errors and an overall poor movie(only would watch it due to the ac porsches). On the flip side, the "legendary chase" in French Connection is highly overated, but good movie. I think the best overall blend of chase and movie was in the Blues Brothers

Vanishing Point sucked as a movie but it was decent for an old somewhat chase.

Why was bullitt so good? because they used the same "scene" over and over again at different angles? I'll never understand why people go ape **** over bullitt's "awesome" chase scene...

I can't stand watching the scene, because all I see are the same cars being passed, turning, etc.

Best chase scene ever, the original Gone in 60 Seconds. That chase scene puts Bullitt to shame... considering the 3/4 movie is one big chase scene. Vanishing Point was a great chase movie as well.

I do have to agree, Gone in 60 Seconds is a great movie.

it only matters in this case b/c i think that jump ruined the chase scene in the remake. It was going pretty damn well up until that point...
