Multiple Issues.... Please Help!

I was going to make a seperate thread for each issue, but I didn't want to clutter up the forum, so hopefully I will get a good answer for each question...

I'll start by saying my car has 84,500 miles and is a 2000 Passat GLX.

First:

Whenever I am at a dead stop, say at a light or a stop sign, and I hit the gas to start moving, there is a hop in 1st gear. Sounds like a clunk and it only does it from a dead stop in first, not a slow crawl or in any other gear.
I visited a VW shop last night and they said that it prob isnt my clutch. They think because it is isolated to just first gear, it could mean I have low fluid levels on my tranny.

What do you think?

Second:

Now this hasn't happened in almost a week, but I'm still worried about it. About two weeks ago, my car started flashing STOP in the display and my ABS light and Brake light started to flash. Sometimes it did it then went away, other times it stayed on for a few minutes, then other times it went away and just showed the symbol for the traction control on my display. Now when the VW shop scanned the car last night, he said there was no error anymore. He even put the code in to make the car show the error and it still didn't show a problem.

I am thinking there is just a loose sensor on one of the brakes and is causing this. Hopefully I don't need to replace the ABS pump, because that will be almost $500. Any thoughts?

Third:

Brake/wheel squeeking at highway speeds... whenever I am going over 45/50 mph, I hear a squeeking sound. It sounds as if the brake pad is touching the spinning rotor ever so slightly. I say this because the moment I touch the brake pedal, the noise goes away, but comes back shortly after.

Also, whenever I hit any bumps, all four wheels sound like there is loose change jiggiling around.

For the squeeking, the VW shop said it could be a loose backplate. And for the noise whenever I hit a bump, he said some of the brackets could have rusted on the exhaust...

For a remedy to the squeeking, to make sure it wasn't the e-brake cables not fully disengaging, he suggested that I VERY slightly pull up on the e-brake when I hear the noise to see if it goes away. I tried it this morning, but no luck.

Please help me if you can.

first one could be a cv joint. Doesn't sound like a fluid in the trans issue
second, who knows. If it stops OK don't worry
third, could be worn out pads or something loose, maybe just something caught near the pad.
For the last two you could go to a car wash and blast the crap out of the rotor/caliper. Could force the sensor to fail and clean out any crap causing the squeak.

for the 2nd one, it's known for the ABS control module to literally take a ****, or check your brake fluid, in VWs the brake system and ABS system works together

Yeah, thats what I've been hearing. I think I may just replace the ABS module entirely.. But before I go spending that much to replace it, is there any other way to find out what is going on?
