103.3 pirate radio?

103.3 is a princeton college radio station, but usually at nights they shut down until the morning, i was just listening to it and it seems like theres some kind of pirate radio thing going on, the dj said 103.3 something and fridays at 2am they operate. its a kick ass station too, philly and ny rappers, they were playing wu-tang, freeway, lil wayne, and other stuff, the only reason i say its pirate because its pretty much uncensored.

just wondering if anyone ever checked it out yet, its on now, it comes on at 2 am on fridays, and im assuming it goes off air at 6 am. i searched the internet and couldnt find anything. its a really cool station if you like rap, no commercials obviously.

edit-found some info, looks legal but i dunno how they allow cursing, suprised the fcc doesnt rape them

ha back in high school i used to listen to that and trenton state college radio... not the show you're talking about specifically, just in general. lots of underground stuff and some real good music sometimes.

103.3 and 88.5 are the only stations I can tolerate. Of course, due to the diversity, not all is listenable. The cursing after a certain time thing is called something like the safe harboring slot(excuse if that is mentioned in the above links-did'nt check). Other stations do'nt utilize it simply 'cause they're corporate bitches and likely have funding from, or do'nt want to cause a tiff with, the garden variety Right wing/scriptural fundie Christian conservative family value mongers. With wprb, I think the only time they use the safe harboring is fri night/sat morn with the hip hop show with the dj who says "know what I'm saying" every sentence. Occasionally really good hip hop though.

i knew u would chime in, i remember i made a thread on wprb once and u said u listened to it. i know exactly what your talkin about, sorta, atleast about how SG says "you know what im saying"

when he was sayin bye for the night, it took him over 10 minutes because he kept repeatedly saying "you know what im saying"

i wish they had more stations like this, without buying a satelite radio, it is tough listening to this station all the time, especially wxpn, they play too much cultural stuff, but its great when they play unknown songs from popular bands, and local bands you would never hear anywhere else on the radio.
