Been thinking about doing it for a long time and the workin on cars thing got beat a long time ago. So well see how it works out

so youre going back to college? what for?

i am still debating on doing so, i am about 15 credits away from my associates. but then knowing that 90% of companies dont ask for transcripts nor diplomas makes me lean towards not wasting my money. i have a great amount of experience that should help me out incase something happens with my current job.

good luck. ive been trying to get in with philly for about a year now but apparently no one in the hiring team has any clue what theyre doing. and i may have ****ed up last friday when i told the guy who is in charge of the physical fitness exam he could go **** himself.

stay outta philly... try the surrounding counties. Philly crime likes to spill over into those suburbs too

Congrats man. Not to be negative, but just graduating the academy does not get you hired as an officer. I graduated the academy (Montgomery) and it still took me almost a year to get hired as a cop. The only place that guarantees a job is Philly and the State Police. My advice is start taking the tests now, unless you know someone. That's the easiest way to get in.

if you want a good paycheck, don't work in the city. Work around the city

6-7 now.

Montgomery County pays well, better than most areas. I think new cops come in around 50k salary.. I think...

I think philly starts in the low 40k range.
