Joe VS Wawa

Another reason why dirty jerz sucks...

Long story short, went to wawa on rt 70 to get some gas. I ask for premium as usual, my buddy looked over and saw he put in regular. To late, full tank. Joe gets a free tank of gas, a car thats running like crap and another free tank of gas in the future... btw gas does not taste good, and dont walk your dog near my apartment untill it rains.

Top it off the lil fugger slammed my cap against my car.

I had the opposite problem at the wawa on 18s in old bridge. drove up in the mazda said fill it regular, and he fills it with premium. NA rotaries barely need 87 and he pumped in high octane =/ I didnt realize it till I got home and saw the receipt too. and to top it off when I got there he was smoking a distance off and when I left he was too, and Im not quite sure if he ever stopped in the middle cuz I was futzing with stuff inside my car, but thats the last thing I need a high octane fire from this fool.

sucks- but funny 'warning'

why can't we just pump our own? i don't mind, and it would guarantee a) the right gas gets put in, b) that gas doesn't get poured down the car, and c) that the gas cap doesn't slam down on the paint. wtf?

Insurance.

I would much rather pump my own, but for some reason the insurance companies feel that these morons are more qualified to pump the gas. Don't ask how they came up with that one. I agree it should be selective, you want to pump it yourself, feel free. I doubt that will happen anytime soon though.

Happened to me at the same Wawa Joe, now I avoid it like the plague. Now I only go to one of the stations on 206, they let me pump my own

When I gas up in NJ, I just get out and pump it myself most of the times. No one bothers me...?

usually I will just get out and pump my own, then when they walk up to me I let them take over. What are they to do? tell me to leave and take the gas back?

you know what i hate, since we're on the subject: when they take your card and leave it in the swipey-slot... that really gets my goat... anyone could walk up and take it. i asked a guy once why they did that, and he said it was to remind him to give me the receipt? wouldn't the receipt printing out alone clue him in to that?

now i just ask for the card back right away...
