Incase you didn't hear. A Man was brought into St. Mary's by two cops. The guy stole one officers gun and shot two cops at St. Marys hospitle and than escaped. He was out running around. There were like 900 helicopters over my house looking for him. My house is less than a mile away.

Looks like they found him though.

St. Marys was on lockdown and 413 is backed up like a mother ****er.

yea i jus saw that jeff and megan said she saw like 30 cops go flying by moms water ice and then yea i jus saw that on the news

The officers name was Brian Greg, and he was only a cop on the newtown force for almost one year. The guy who shot him is getting a automatic death penalty. I didnt even know they had the DP in PA.... heard it on the news. Crazy tho, i live a mile or two away, and i saw cops everywhere.

A lil off topic, but not really:
My friend was in the ER when it happened. He dropped his bike, going around a
turn... he said he was laying on the side of the rd, for like 10 minutes and no cars stopped, his bike was in the middle of the rd. and his dad drove past and saw him... how F-d up is that??? I swear if i had stopped, which i always do, if i see a accident, and seen someone drive past, even a 90 yr old grandma, i would slap the **** outa her. The nerve of some people... seriously.

Actually, PA has one of the largest death row populations in the nation.
As of 9/1/05, there are 223 people on death row.

My wife called me this morning and told me about it. I'm glad they caught this jerk. They need to take care of this Soviet Union style... let him stand in front of a judge then get dragged off to a pit and shoot him....

I heard about it last night when it happened.. My parents are medics and that kinda made them a bit uneasy.. as well as myself.Cops shoulda been payin attention to him.The whole thing could have been prevented.. Its a shame..nad I can guarantee this one will fry immediately.. PA dont play with cop killers.. they fry within a year.Or so i heard.

i found out that one of the cops that got shot was my bosses cousin... he said he got shot in the stomach

The officer that died was shot in the head, and the one who is expected to recover was shot in the chest area. And since when do officers carry .357 magnum pistols??

They were paying attention to him...he was calm, though not handcuffed, as they were taking blood for a DUI test. Apparently, he got into a fight with one of the officers out of nowhere and managed to grab his gun out of his holster.

Oh, and they haven't used the electric chair since 1962 in PA...it's lethal injection now. And regardless of the crime, it takes a very long time to actually execute someone. I think there have only been like 3 executions actually carried out since 1976 in PA even though there are over 200 people on death row (one of them has TWELVE DEATH SENTENCES!!!).
