Don't assume that. Big muscles don't always make a great fighter. In fighting speed is more important than strength/power and usually heavy weight lifters build up their slow twitch muscles which make them less desirable. But that doesn't mean I would wanna pick a fight with anyone that huge!

your joints get used to heavier weights- as long as you play it conservative.
i've been lifting heavy for 8 years and only started having elbow issues, B/C I FREAKING FELL TWICE IN A MOSHPIT

I was just curious because when I started seriously lifting for a little while I was 185lbs @ 6'2". Then I started taking Non-Andro (back when it was still legal) and I went from 185 to 230 in 6 months! All my joints were sore even though I was doing proper warm up and cool downs. I curbed the workout and changed to include more reps lower weight and cut back on the carbs and dropped to 210 and then all of the joint pain stopped.

my buddy is of similar size, also natural. I can tell you he works out 6 days a week, 2 times a day most days. he is too damn large for his own good, biceps ranging 24 inches i believe (keep in mind, thats only a few inches smallers than some of our waists..lol). he's gonna have to start wearing spandex shorts soon, his legs are like tree trunks..lol

my only beef with getting that big is that...years down the line if you stop working out like that, whether it be due to injury, lack of time,etc.... you will turn into a rather flabby mess. If you're gonna get that big you have to stick with it. More power to him though, i know how much dedication it takes.
