My New Daily: Euro Inside

Some of you know that I picked up a MKII GTI for a daily driver. I spent most of the day cleaning the interior. Still a long ways to go to "clean" it up but its coming along

Found it in York Pa from VW Vortex. Has the typical problems that any used old ass car has but I'm working my way through them.

I've been doing some shopping for a daily and have been really tempted to pick up one of these or an 80's corolla. Good grab.

Its not THAT mint. It's got a decent sized rust spot on the right quarter. The interior is pretty nice and it runs and shifts well.

I'll drop a few bucks into it and it'll be a great DD.

1980-1983 1.8 corolla FTW! those things CAN be done up in awesome fashion if you find a clean one. My old neighbor had a white on white one, so clean and completely redone, thing was badass.

Back on topic, nice MKII. doesn't look bad at all for it's age. Good luck with it.

That I know. My friends are all VW guys but I bought this as a DD so I'm not trying to mod it. The only thing I'll spend money on it for it so clean it up/make it more realiable.
