The only reason it hit 10's, with street tires or even regualr sized slicks no way. I think it's stupid but thats just me, I wonder who even thought that up.

Guys, that was not a 10 sec pass. Watch the vid and see how the tree is activated by the rear tires. It was more like an 11 sec pass. It's even in the comments below the vid...

Still a quick car and it's surprisingly quiet.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. The staging lights went twice.

I don't see how the tree was activated by his rear tires... that's definitely front. Notice the little yellow box to the left of the car (you can just spot it as he moves up a little)...that's the sensor, and it's definitely at his front tires when he starts.

The 2nd light just means he was staged...if he was staged too deep the top light would have gone off.

i cant belive the stupidity. that car definitly staged the front tires, obviously the lights will flash when the rear tires pass through them, had the car been staged with the rear tire, you wouldnt see the staging lights flash after the launch. every single car will flash the staging lights a second time, after the green drops. if there was something else triggering the staging beam, the staging light would not go off, and the timer wouldnt start until the light went off... everything checks out in this video.

....... JUST WOW....

I understand what your saying and I totally agree...but I always thought the staging lights cut out and stay out when you front tires leave the beam? Maybe I never noticed?

not sure if it was thought about, but when the civic ran it was pro tree... and the other runs were just normal tree. wonder if that has something to do with it...
