I don't know about anyone else on here, but I was just informed (and i may be late compared to others) that they are doing GI Joes in August '09. I dont know how good its going to be considering Chaddum Tattum or whatever his name is, is playing Duke, and Marlyn Waynes is playing Ripcord, adn the guy who directed the Mummy is directing this, but i want to see what other people think. I'm probably going to see this regardless of how ridiculous it looks.

I just remember all the cartoons and action figures from when i was younger. Who else is a Gi Joes fan?

I'm a huge GI Joe fan as well. I'm gonna reserve judegment until I at least see the trailer. I'm pretty excited to see new life breathed into the whole Transformers/GI Joe line.

considering that the original GI Joes were from various parts of the world (though all US military in the cartoon) this isn't that big of a deal.

Besides, it'll make more sense to the rest of the world... cause they're stupid and wouldn't get it anyway

Actually, no. The original 4 GI Joe were an Army dude, Marine, Sailor and Pilot. The other dudes were added later.

nothing will compare to the REAL GI JOE movie way back in 1987. Probably before most of you guys were born. Same goes for Transformers. The NEW movie was a discrace to the real movie

Hell yeah! Finally someone who recognizes! Nothing beats the originals. The best part about the Transformers movie for me was that they got the original voice of Optimus Prime for the new movie.
