Petsmart in Delran NJ had 2 orange kittens the other day. Not sure if you are looking to adopt or if you are looking for more of a "free to good home" kind of thing.

cool, i'll take a look.

I'm trying to look around my area, KoP. And trying to stay away from the SPCA since the costs for a kitten are around $200.

Some of the smaller rescues are cheap, $50 at http://www.treetopsrescue.org/

I'll take a look at the local pet smart and see whats around.

well i had a orange tabby kitten but someone got dibs on it but if they back out ill let you know wont be for about 6 more weeks tho

I'm actually looking into building a vivarium for a lizard of some sort too... so yeah... I likes to spend my monies...

who knows... I don't have much furniture.. maybe seating for 5 at the most lol. If people want to bring lawn chairs they can chill on the deck

Just my 2 cents:
I got my tabby a few months back, I just looked on craigslist and found someone who was a vet at the aspca who was giving away free ones from the litters she had, the only problem with getting a kitten thats not form the aspca is that you still have to pay the $150 for all the shots/vaccines/tests that need to be done plus the spay/neuter which was another $50, so honestly, it might just be easier for you to get one from the aspca with all of the shots/vaccines/tests done and pay the $ that your going to have to anyway, then all you have to do is the spay/neuter.

Check out the Cat Angel network.. Or if your looking for a kitten, Petsmart on 202 in Wilmington De jsut as you cross into Delaware has ALOT on Saturdays and Sundays.. And adopting a kitten with them ranges between $50 - $100 Depending on which agency ( theres 3 there on weekends ) and if the kitten is old enough to be spayed or neutered as well as breed, papers or not, etc. But weekends at that one they have a HUGE selection of cats and kittens. Cat Angel Network also has a huge selection of kittens.. not sure what their adoption fee is, but they seem pretty reasonable and the cat/kitten comes up to date on ALL shots.

spay/neuter second round of shots, possibly declawing, all on top of the initial adoption fee from the spca.

I realize that that money is a huge help to the spca... but to be honest, if I go to the spca I'd adopt an older cat. The kittens will easily get adopted from there, the older ones, not so much.
