Navigation Units

Hey guys,

Im going to be doing some traveling a little more frequently coming up, and i was wondering if the TomTom Ones are decent nav systems. I dont have a preference for anything crazy, just something a little decent for around 100 to 150 bucks. On Ebay, this unit ranges from 50 to 150 dollars too, hense why i am asking if anyone knows if this unit is alright. Any other suggestions? thanks.

i chose a smaller one because of where i want to mount it. rather than mounting it from the windshield, i wanted it below my radio, where i can keep my hand on the shift knob, and pretty much just point and push with my finger.

I have a one 3rd edition and am very happy with it. My only complaint is that it calculates the shortest route via miles and that isn't always the best way to go. As with all GPS units, they don't drive your car for you so still watch for signs. Some intersections can get tricky and if you just listen to the sexy voice in the box, you will make some wrong turns.

Yea I changed it out to a english female voice. I get a woody every time she says take a right turn. You can also soft hack the one to change the functionality a bit. If you end up getting one, let me know and I will send you a few choice programs and links to extend the functionality of it.
