Why I like thunderstorms...

Cause of lightening. Tried working with layers for the first time. Have a lot of editting techniques to learn and figure out. But for the most part, only editted Histogram, saturation, and levels.

I just kinda sit there and put it to 80 ISO and lowest Apeture.....and hold the button down in continuous mode and let it take hundreds of pictures. What got me mad is the best lightening shots were during a down pour, so naturally i was in my car. I dont mind taking a few hundred pics trying to get a good lightening shot. Cause its pretty easy to filter through the good ones from the bad ones when its pitch black versus a colored sky lol.

^^^Thats freaking awesome. Anyone want the originals to clean up and make better? I know there are some decent photo shop guys that are probably saying...amateur lol.

Well I need to figure out how to set up my Canon Powershot S3IS to do this, if it even has the ability. But thats a cool little article.

Brad...you crossing over county line road around 5pm after work during the week? I think I see you at least 3 times a week! I work at Dorman and usually my car in an outer spot by county line and east walnut street. It has to be you.

Not me man, but I have seen your car at Dorman. I helped a friend with his car a bit ago and we went for a rip out that way...saw the SVT sitting out there.

I've actually been taking mine to work the past few days, but I'm off at 4pm and don't head that way.

Is it Silver maybe instead of the darker color like mine? I've seen a silver MSP every morning for about a month...

There are devices that trigger your shutter based on a strobe. Kind of like how you can trigger a camera at a sporting event remotely for multiple angle exposures. Back when I was really into it I had one along with a 580EX flash off camera so the camera was triggered by lightning and the flash triggered by the camera - you could get some really cool heat-lightning photos of still life and ****. I had a good one of a tree with lightning behind it - it was wild. Since then I've lost nearly 90% of my images - rock on.
