Ryan's 2.5RS.... 500+whp. need more fuel

Well, I think its finally time I do one of these. Im not much for words and I don't have a ton of pics but alas, here goes.

I bought this silly little thing back in December of 2000. It was my xmas present to myself after not having a car for 6 months (long story that involves strippers etc etc)

Didn't even really get a good test drive at first, drove it up the road and thought "holy shiit is this thing slow" But it handled awesome so I signed the paper work.

First mods were the usual, intake...exhaust...lowered it. Then I bought a short throw.. it broke. So I made my own

I proceeded to drive the ever living piss out of this thing.. I mean DRIVE THE PISS OUT OF IT!! I probably have more 1/4 mile passes on this thing than most people have ever watched. And yes, I keep every timeslip. 2 years ago I counted and I was around 260+.

If most people know how Island is, some days you can whack out 25-30 runs in. I did that on a regular basis...I mean every Sunday.
First started of stupid slow... high 15's. Then with the basic bolt ons, it ran a 14.9. I was the first 2.5rs with no power adders in the 14's. At that time it was fast, enough to give na GSR's and SI's a run.

I soon got bored and tossed nitrous on it. Running a 13.8 on spray. Well, I got bored with that also.

SO...I swapped it. And still had the nitrous on it for shiits and giggles.. hehe.

2 months after I swapped it I ran it at island again. Ran a 13.5 @101 first pass out of the hole. 2nd pass I broke the trans.
So 2 days later I had another trans in it. That summer I threw a bigger turbo at it and got it tuned. Hit 293whp. I was pretty damn happy with that

I ran that setup until the next Febuary when rolling onto Rt22 the trans went again. I had it at that point. So in April I brought the trans down to Andrewtech to have a set of PPG's installed. Been happy ever since.

I could list the amount of mods I have had on this pig but I don't think the internet is big enough. I have had sooooo much crap bolted to this car its disgusting.

SO I leave you with the current mod list and some pics. Enjoy

Sick car. The best part is that if you ask Ryan about a specific part thats on the car you get a little story about the part and its history. Its as if he were talking about his kid or something.

ps you forgot to list your hids, boost gauge, and the Area1320 stickers that add an extra 100hp.

thanks everyone :P

Like Ben said, every part has a story behind it.. either how I got it or the trouble it gave me or whatever. I have had so many different mods on this car it sometimes makes me sick.

But here is the only video I have of it. Its from when I first brought it to Andy for a tune

I freaking love that harness bar. I never realized you had JDM tails on it! The _ONLY_ thing in my opinion that would put the icing on teh cake would be a v6 spoiler :P
