ARGH Im so pissed right now! My SV650 failed inspection because I didnt have a light on my lisence plate (which MOST bikes DONT). So I spent $15 on a DOT lisence plate LED light, and IT STILL F*CKING FAILED! The guy says "youre gonna have to do better than that." So I just paid $30... TWICE... to have my bike fail. Now I have to take it to the place that sold me the LED, and see if theyll pass it.

This is so frustrating, it seems like no one will inspect a bike unless you let them do work on it. I JUST WANT A DAMN STICKER!

Im about to say eff it, and ride it uninspected. Cops rarely stop bikes for inspection, so i'd probably be fine. Blah.

Anyone with an inspection lisence want to pass my bike? Theres no reason it shouldnt pass.

He thanked me for not running, and only gave me a ticket for inspection. $72 ticket. Thats what prompted me to get it inspected (ive been away at school since then).

I got pulled over in a turkey hill parking lot for having my visor up last august, and got nailed for inspection...never got it inspected. You already paid almost half your inspection ticket trying to get it inspected.

I paid my WHOLE inspection ticket trying to get it inspected! Ive paid $60 so far, and its gonna cost me another $30 at another shop! And theres still no guarentee that theyll pass it! ****!

btw... you can get stopped for having your visor up? What kind of BS is that?!

fock inspection, lol just ride without it. Yeah, they can pull you over for it because you dont have eye protection then.

come on down to stroudsburg and i will hook you up with at my dads store and you will get a sticker as long as your tires are good and your lights work, o and you have good brakes!

i would have been tempted to ask him why hes giving me a ticket if he expected me to run but i didnt id ask for a warning!

Well... I may have understated things a bit. I passed two cars on a double yellow. In one pass. In plain view of the cop. Stupid I know... but I wasnt about to argue with an inspection ticket when the alternative included points and hefty fines.

Why did they charge you twice? I worked at a shop, if it needed something the person simply brought it back fixed and they got there sticker.

yeah, most shops have a 1 re-test type of deal if you fail. Did you tell them that the light was a dot approved liscense plate light? just zip-tie a glow stick to it before you go.
