For those not familiar with this charity event, it's a collaboration between the Viper, Corvette, Ferrari, Maserati, DeTomaso and Lamborghini clubs to raise money for a random charity. This year the beneficiary is the Wounded Warrior Project ( http://woundedwarriorproject.org/ ) to help wounded soldiers that return from the Middle East.

I was invited by the Viper Club of America to photograph the event. I attended the concours on Sunday and the track day on Monday. I skipped the autocross on Saturday. I'll have the pictures up from the track day by Friday or Saturday.

I didn't know it at the time, but I met a Viper owner who happen to be a Viper design engineer. He brought an '08 ACR #1 Viper from Michigan for the event (plus he brought his wife & two kids). Pretty cool guy.

Wow looks like an incredible time, for one hell of a good cause.

Is this open to the public? I might have to come out next time around!

Yes, no cost for spectators at any of the three events.

This is an annual event - http://www.pocono-csd.com/

Spectators have pretty much full access in the pits at Pocono Raceway.

It is real hard to pick an event to go to this time of year. I would have loved to have gone to this if I wasn't up at Limerock.

I skipped the Lime Rock event for this one. It was worth it... wait til you see the track day pictures.

that black pantera is hot as hell. it's about the only thing with a ford motor i ever wanted.
