Umm...probably early 2000 model. Turboed, Gray or primered, in stealies I think.

At 7-11 in Newtown. Revved at me with you and 2 buddies in the car. Then you screamed "You can't touch this", as you peel out oh so cool with your friends.

So I catch up along side you a mile or so down the road and ask if you want to go since "I can't touch that", and you say "I'm just a 4 cylinder. Haven't heard of having fun??" Then you proceed to say "Mustangs are gay" Yep, cool one there buddy.

Haven't you heard of not being a douche and calling people out then backing down when they catch up to you later down the road?

Must be a vw thing. For like a week and a half a few months ago, vw's all in my area like got together and had a pep-talk or rally or something, but anytime I would happen to run up on a kid with a vw, they wanted to race, and lost. But whatever...kids are goofy anymore. I don't think they were beat enough as children....

i agree with you ive been out places and ppl just come up to me saying im some kinda spoiled rich kid because im young and a vw owner...i dont go looking for trouble but so many ppl go out of there way to say or start stuff with me

I bought a 1983 VW Rabbit last week and its all done out, SLAMMED to the ground, Wide Steelies, the whole shot,,, and I love it, but being that I got it only about 4 days ago, mad people already started gettin on me for it. this post actually reminds me of how my bf and i were driving the 03 cobra on lehigh street and these kids in a white mk3 gti stepped on it and passed us. probably boosted their ego. sometimes i almost feel embarassed by some of the people i hang out with. some are vw snobs. i tell them my bf hates vws and they look at me like i'm retarded. i think there are people like that in most groups though, not just vws.

It's not a vw thing, it's a mob mentallity thing. Chances are that person would'nt have said anything without people around or friends to impress for some sort of ego gratification. Note that this behavior manifests most often within contemporary fad groups.
