Was looking on craigs list and I car across this car. Just was wondering if 1. this car is worth the price and 2. how do the engine's on these cars hold out with high millage like that? http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/car/693753085.html

sitting for a year = rust and wear, u should check it out in person

check it out, but if its good id get it, just not for a daily. would make a nice project/cruiser, and they are definately not common anymore, i hardly ever see any

see I am looking a daily drive though yet something I can mess around with as well.

sweet cars/ check for rust, check compression. make sure it runs right. these cars get little electrical gremlins, like corroded electrical connectors and stuff... high miles sucks though, but you can always rebuild

look for rust mainly, check compression, cycle through the gears, check weather stripping; ask him why he stopped driving it. how long its been for sale etc if its been for sale for a long time that should be a hint that maybe something is up that you missed

Lets just say it has 209K and has been sitting for a while, leave it alone! I have a paycheck it's on its last leg.

if i had the money this car would have a home as long as the bodys clean honestly if the motor ran i wouldnt care its 209k on it but if the bodys clean rebuild the motor and let this car live ive been lookin at em forever
