Anyone on here a tattoo artist or know of anyone with good rates? I have a few ideas for my upper back. somewhat big, not much detail. I have pictures I can send for an estimate. I'm trying to get it asap.

(If this is somehow in the wrong section I'm sorry, its been over 3 months since i've been on a computer)

If you're looking for a good artist, there's no such thing as "asap". If there's a couple week to a couple month wait, that's because it's a good shop. If you can get in that day, then they suck and no one is going there. (unless you just happen to be lucky enough to stop in when someone canceled, which isn't likely)

more like 3 months to a years wait, but its permanent, so its worth it imo

sberk06 since your in horsham i would travel to tattoo marks (souderton) and have mark tattoo you. I know justinlansdale has been a few places and the peice he got done there is sick. its a wait but i have never heard a complaint.

If you want an amazing artist, $120-125 /hr , Quiet a wait, But its soo worth it, did some of my friends tattoos, doing mine on june 3rd, Rich Wren, Mercury Tatoo, Glenside.

There is no such thing as "cheaper, less time, good work", unless you personally know people like I do. I've worked in tattoo shops for the last 8 years. Trust me. I live in Binghamton, NY now, and this is a little town too. And out of probably 5-7 shops, my really good friend Shawn's shop is booked for 9-10 weeks. All the others you can just walk in to and sit down and get going. And their work is proof as to why. And even me, knowing him since before he started and being as close as we are, I still have to wait. LOL Of course he cuts me a wicked break on price, but yeah, $125-$150/hour is about right for something "good".

If your getting ink don't look for good rates...look for a good artist. I use Olde City tattoo in Philly.

I know it's in the opposite direction, but if you check out Critical Acclaim in Emmaus, the head tattoo guy's name is Brandon Burr and he does incredible work. He's probably the most patient person I've ever talked to about getting a tattoo and his staff is equally as talented.

check out eternity tattoo in royersford my friend has an apprenticeship there but the guy that does most of the tattoos has over 25 years experience, they are really good and very clean. bunch of cool guys too i can get you their info if you'd like.

I'd guess that a tattoo that size at eternity would run you in the area of 200-400 thats a lot of hard shading but its a fairly simple design.
