need help. just got a traffic ticket

i was wondering anyone here knows a cop that can do anything? or if i can fight this ticket, or it's a waste of time. i got pulled over for passing a septa trolly in a no passing zone. supposely it's 2 violations. one passing a septa trolly, and the other is the yellow lines no passing. i dn't mind paying for it ($118), but i don't need the points on my name for higher insurance. any help appreciated.

you could fight it, being your first offence chances are it'll be reduced to a 3111A ( disregaurd traffic control device ) it's about $105-$118 after tax and fees, and carrys no points.

or, you could take it on the chin and pay the fine, take your points, and not do something dumb like that again. many people have been struck by cars exiting trollys and having people pass the trolly/bus

then it's your first offence, just keep your mouth shut in court and say it's your first offence

Go to court, the cop will ask you why you're there. Tell him you don't want points. It'll be reduced, fine no points.

Good day sir.

Dress mature in court, and act decently(for lack of a better word...humble yourself) because if the prosecuter or cop dosn't lower the ticket you may be able to get the judge to...of course you would actually have to know what statute you want the ticket lowered to, number and name.
