Any CDL Drivers here??

I recently got my CDL License Class B thru a School Bus company. They did NOT have air brake buses so I could not get that endorsement.

I am just seeing if any1 on here has received training for this or know a company that provides training for employees.

I emailed a couple schools but they seem to only have FULL course classes for a CDL A or B and not just endorsment classes.

You also need a truck to go take the test in as well. So I am struggling to try and get this bc most big trucks use air brakes.

Any help would be great.

Thanks Jay

If i was you i would get the air endorsement. If the bus thing does not work out you could always drive a truck, the pay is decent for most truck driving.

Agreed. AB endorsement will help you if go for future jobs. Of course you would need an AB vehicle to train in and I can't help you out there.

Just a hint, when you go for your driving test, do what ever you can to butter up the person giving you the exam. Those DMV guys are a surly bunch. I'm pretty sure the only way I passed was because my entire test we talked about cars. I made several mistakes and he said he would let them go! Took my colleague there for the same road test with the same instructor, he did better than I, but still was failed.

Thats what I am trying to get the AB endorsement. I just need to find a company/school that will train and allow me to take their vechile to take the test in. I already got the CDL Class B but only have the School Bus and Passanger endorsements.

You might just have to take the full course, or work for a landscape/excavation company. That is how i am getting mine.
