street racing

hey sarge, me and one of my friends were pulling out of the car wash and apparently I accelerated by a officer and my friend was following beind me a ways back. I ended up catching a light and he shorty after pulled up next to me. The light turned green and he took off and I slowly accelerated from the light. Before I hit second gear in my car the officer took off and went after my friend. I was apporaching a light where my friend was stopped at with the officer pulled behind him. I pulled up next to my friend and when the light turned green I started accelerating away. The officer turned on his lights and pulled my friend over. I ended up making a U turn and driving by in the other direction with seeing the officer and my friend pulled over and proceeded to go to the car wash up the street. My friend comes back and says he got a ticket for street racing. About an hour later I get a restriced phone call from someone and I thought it was a prank so I played it off as if it were dominos pizza they were calling and they hung up never saying who they were. About a half hour after that an officer came up asking for my phone number and then asking why I said it was dominos pizza. I told him I dont give out my personal information to restricted numbers. He said that I should make sure I answer my phone next time cause it will be a call telling me to turn myself in for street racing other wise I will be getting a warrant for my arrest. I told the officer that I was not racing. Sorry this is so long but my questions are can the officer just call from a restricted number to my personal cell phone with out telling who is calling? Also since I never got pulled over or ticketed for anything can the officer really put a warrant out for my arrest for street racing? If he had anything to convict me on shouldnt he have gave me something when he approached me in the car wash asking for my cell phone number? Any help would be great and I apologize for it being so long.

He can write you a summons and have you come to court. Sounds like you guys just pissed him off.
