Type R parts that fit for a "Regular" 00 Integra

I just wanted some tips on what parts I could pull from a type r and put on a "Regular" Integra. I was wondering if the valve cover would fit, and other engine parts? Any ideas or tips?

its a differcult swap since its a type-r. i would say save the trouble and sell all your type-r parts to me at a lost

u need to be more specific. alot of type-r worthy parts will swap into other DCs and make a difference.

but yeah, help me help you. be more specific, this isn't honda-tech.

even if this was honda-tech, we need to know more. All of the integra motor parts aside from intake manifold will swap into a gsr, but very few will swap into an LS/GS The trans will though, and it will help quite a bit in many ways. All of the suspension stuff will swap over, as will the bigger brakes and brake boost/master cylinder. The seats will swap if you get a type r center console, because the type r seats are too wide for the reg console. The dash stuff will also swap. The wing is good to go. Also note that from 97+ they are 5 lug, so to swap brakes etc you must do a full 5 lug swap. was this post helpful?

Yea sorry, it is a GS. I was wondering if a type r valve cover would fit, and whatever other parts i can easily pull and switch.

everything besides the motor (vtec vs your non vtec) and rims (5 lug instead of 4 lug).

everything else will bolt right up or plug right in.

dont forget brakes too pearl. you could steal the calipers etc if you could find 4 lug rotors. I dont think its going to be as easy as finding an ITR to just pull parts from though. They're not exactly junk yard material, even with their age.

im not 100%, but i think the exhausts with fit as well. i know the axlebacks fit.

correct. LS/GS has a b18b which is NON VTEC and gsr/itr have b18c which is VTEC thus most engine parts are different. You could, as pearl said, use the ITR head on your GS block and make decent power.

Put it to you like this....

Type-R engine parts work with the GSR, not LS/RS/GS (non-VTEC B18B) unless you are doing the whole swap or a Head Swap then its irrelevant. Also the year of your car will change what works and what dont 94,95 Integra's are OBD1, 96>01 OBD2A & OBD2B

Everything suspension related will be interchangeable, they are the same car..... including the 5 lug suspension as long as you have ALL the parts, dont try to mix and match just to be cool and say I got some Type-R parts.

Everything interior related will be interchangeable besides the ECU, unless you do the engine swap

Why dont you be specific and explain exactly what you want to do so we dont have to dealt with half assed info on your intentions.

even on a GSR, the intake mani will not swap, although it is direct bolt to a b16.

i dont really have any specific intentions. i dont know a whole lot about engines swaps and all that so i was just looking for any suggestions or ideas from people who have already done it.

header lengths are different so therefore from there back wont fit always. the axelbacks are interchangable

now that i look at the pictuire. itr exhaust will fit on a ls/gs but not gsr so yea a itr exhaust would fit on his car

reason why I am asking, is most people that had "random" Type-R parts to "pull" are thieves.
