so i get home yesterday and....

And i thought someone sent me an early Christmas gift! I see two BIG boxes sitting in my driveway one is half open and the other is fully seals. So i get close to the box and i see its from JCWhitney. So being the good boy that i am i went to the opened box and i see A 40 Series mufflers some body panels and in the big box is another body panel. So i look for the invoice on for the box and i see it has my address but someone named carl. I was thinking to myself i bet those mufflers would sound great! Then i thought to myself "dam am i on that new series on ABC 'what would you do?' where is that dude jon at?"

So i was like man i like those mufflers, but then the good came out in me. I called jcw and i told them look i got two boxes here one is opened and one is sealed. She asked me if i ordered anything. i was like hmmmmm would i call you and tell you i got someone elses stuff if i didn't order anything. but i am a good boy right now so i said no i didn't and this is not my name on the bill, she says well its your address. then i told her but i didn't order anything trust me i would use the mufflers but its not mine and what am i going to do with body parts for a car i don't own?

she puts me on hold and then comes back and says i see there is a problem here. She asked me if i opened the box. i told her the box is already opened and i can tell you the invoice says 8 parts but there is only 4. so she puts me on hold again then comes back and says ok i will give you a call later please hold on to the parts. So i tell her that ok i will. I went out to bike night with the wife come home and i have two voice mails. One was the women from JCW and other was a little old lady saying thank you for your honesty please give me a call when you get a chance. So i call her turns out we have the same address but different zip codes. i am 02 she is 01. So she is coming today to get her husbands parts and as a gift she is giving me a $50 gift cert to jcw!

as for the missing parts i have no clue where they went or where they are i came home and there was popcorn all over my driveway and all over my lawn so i guess cleaning it up was worth the 50 bucks right!!

I would have used the flowmaster 40 series real quick, and then put them back in the box. But I do agree that cleaning up the "popcorn" was worth $50.

Gotta wonder if someone stole the parts out of your driveway though. Makes you cringe when you think of your things being delivered.

if it was already 2 boxes, perhaps the other 2 just didnt deliver yet. Ya know, like when you order 4 wheels from tire rack...you get 2 one day and 2 another day..loll

what would of happened if u did take the parts, and no one found it, would the old lady still get her stuff sent out again?

well one more package came today and the owner was at my house but i was out on a bike ride. so she picked up box three so that means there was more to come out. but i still have the muffler and the other body panel! but its all good he is coming tomorrow to get it! i do feel good about it! now what to get with that 50 bucks i might get a steering wheel i always wanted to change mine out!
