I have everthing downloaded to log and i have a tactrix cable but i keep getting the "unable to send ecu init" on the enginuity ecu logger. I guess i'am too dumb to do this or i have a bad cable or something....so i basically need someone to hold my hand and show me how to do this. LOL. I live up near quakertown but i'am willing to drive a lil and I'll offer a 12 pack if you can get me logging
Any help would be great!

make sure that your computer recognizes the tactrix cable when you plug it in, and make sure you have the correct port selected... its something with the communication between cable and laptop. have you read over the documentation on romraider.com as well?

i read all FAQs. When i plug the cable in my computer it does recognizes it but i think it said it was com4 and my enginuity only allows me to pick com1 or 3. I tried all other ports with no luck....theres only 2 on my laptop
FYI: I dont know too much about computers so bare with me

i'm not an expert with them either, but you need to find out what port the computer is picking up the cable on and you have to make sure that is the port selected within romraider

I know this sounds dumb but i only have 2 ports on my computer, yet when i plug it in, it says com4.....and like i said the logger only lets me pick 1 or 3. I know it doesnt make any sense, any other ideas

Chance you com port for the usb device (cable) to com port 1 or 3 in device manager and make sure it is the same in the logging software..wheres my twelver?!?!? lol

I just went out in the garage to tired it again and for some reason it worked this time. Thanks for your help guys
