bridge police?

hello, i was just kinda curious what kind of authority that bridge police have? i was crossing the burlington bristol last nite on my bike and i seen two of them just standin there talkin near there cars at the toll. so i started thinkin about just what they can and cant do really. i would assume they can give a ticket for any moving violation that occured on the bridge (speeding or anythin in that nature), but i was curious weather they can ticket you for something like tinted windows or somethin else that not a moving violation.
