Talking My Seafoam Video

Anybody with a DSM has heard about us using seafoam on our cars most popularly through the intake. Creates a smoke screen effect during its use and after. This time I decided to get someone to videotape it.

Me, Bailer, 04srt and sleepinsilvia23 got at it and it was a good time.

Here's a video courtesy of my videographer sleepinsilvia23 of it in action:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzPDQ27tWQY

And here's a video of me shaking the rest of the smoke off:

It's petroleum based so your not gonna hydrolock. Unless you like pour it in your throttle body lol I just sucked it in trough a vaccum hose on my throttle body. They say not to use it that often on older cars because it might clean it out too much.

Not to sound like a total douche bag...but how does cleaning out an older car too much cause a problem? Is it just cleaning the cylinders and manifolds?

from what i've heard, they clean it too well, meaning certain problems that may have gone un-noticed due to a lot of build up are now found because that build up is gone.

Such as a drop in compression, leaks, etc.

Hahaha OMG that was crazy... I cant belive a nice product like seafoam makes so much **** come out of your car... The only bad I heard about seafoam was the fact that when it cleans/takes away and gunk built up in your gaskets and such, you might spring leaks if your car has an older/high milage motor. Being that the gunk sometimes holds the gaskets together? I dunno, just what I heard, sweet video though :D

Nope, you're supposed to stall the car out actually.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

I could tell the exhaust leaks from under the hood got worse during the course of the treatment but I could care less. It's getting taken apart soon anyway.

You just experience a smoother idle but it's supposed to be one of those things where its just good for your motor and not really noticeable.
