I've always said I wasn't addicted to it...

And before working in IT I never was... but the coffee is free... and plentiful, and delicious...

4-5 cups a days makes one addicted. I only ever drank it b/c I enjoyed the taste. It doesn't wake me up.

So I've decided today to stop drinking it... 1pm rolled around and I had a splitting headache. I'm almost done my cup of coffee and I'm feeling much better.

Tomorrow, it's decaf... maybe its all in my mind...

Anyone else addicted to this stuff? It doesn't affect me during the weekend when i don't drink it at all

I drink coffee on and off but I have never touched decaf. I think it smells like **** and makes your breath smell like ****.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I used to drink 5 - 6 cups before lunch, and then when I decided to stop I got splitting head aches all the time.

I started to drink decaf coffee and caffeine free soda, and now when I don't have any coffee or soda for a while I don't get headaches.

It's the caffeine. I wants to kill you.

It might not be related. If you get migranes they reccomend caffeine, I know it works even with my sinus headaches. That's why excedrine migrane is just excedrine with caffeine.

ditto...ive taken one taste in my life and cant stand it. I drink water and juice usually. If i feel the need for a hot drink its either hot chocolate or lipton tea.

I'm the same way, except I love the smell and hate the taste of coffee. I used to work for Bucks County Coffee and the smell got used to me. But I still cant stand the taste of it, its just to bitter and strong.

I have whole bags of different blends at home. Columbian, wawa, Starbucks, DD, even stuff from the Soviet.

Been drinkin it with the creamers lately, got myself Hazlenut, French Vanilla, Irish Creme, etc.etc. its more addictive than cigarettes to me

ive never got into coffee, i cant stand the way it smells. i may try some tea eventually, soda in the morning isnt the healthiest thing.

actually soda is probably better.... What do most coffee drinkers put in their coffee....sugar and cream... all soda is is sugar and water + flavoring. Since it doesn't have the cream its probably better for you actually...

I think soda does more damage to your teeth than a cup of coffee does. over time of course.

Other than the discoloration of course... but I rinse with whitening mouth wash and brush my teeth daily. My teeth aren't super white, but I gotta be honest... WHITE teeth freak me out...

green tea is supposed to help prevent prostate cancer.

i drink a cup of coffee every day, then try to go to tea... then water... i def need to drink more water.

coffee is great and I'm sure I'd be addicted to it if there were an abundance of it at my work. Every once in a while I get some wawa coffee, which is good enough for me. oh, and decaf for the lose.
